Carmen Vicelich


Carmen has over 15 years’ experience in using data to solve business problems. This includes working with every major NZ bank and insurer, and several large retail, telco, media brands and utility providers. Her personal accolades include EY Entrepreneur of the Year Finalist 2015, and winner of the Auckland University Business School Entrepreneurs Challenge award. She was also a finalist in the Westpac 100 Women of Influence in 2016 and represented NZ in China as the EY Oceania Fast Tech Entrepreneur. Carmen launched Data Insight to deliver game changing value and actionable insights through analytics and technology. And we have been widely recognised with numerous awards for doing exactly that. These include Best B2B solution and Best Emerging Brand/Business at the TVNZ Marketing Awards, and Supreme Winner and several gold awards at the NZDM Awards. Carmen is passionate about delivering innovation through the power of data and technology across all industries and has also launched the mortgage valuation platform, Valocity.

Claire Bonham-Holden


Claire has over 20 years experience helping clients unlock the value of data and enable data-driven decisions through advanced analytics and actionable insights. She is an expert in making the complicated seem simple. With extensive in-house and agency experience in the data industry, both in New Zealand and the UK, Claire has worked across a diverse range of industries including finance, telecommunications, retail, media, and energy. Most recently, Claire was Head of Data at MediaWorks, working predominately on its data strategy.

Daniel Parr


Daniel has over 10 years of experience in data analytics – with previous roles including Moneysupermarket in the UK and Spark in New Zealand. Since graduating with an Honours degree in Chemistry and a Bachelors in Business he has proven to be a top performer in solving client problems across industries including retail, utilities, property, financial and digital. Our clients rely on Daniel for bespoke solutions that integrate the online and the offline, to get the most out of all their data, and to understand customer journeys. His expertise extends to modelling, profiling, segmentation, campaign measurement, data strategy, and making the complex simple through the use of advanced analytics and visualisation. Daniel brings data to life in an age when many companies are information rich but insight poor.

Olivia Winterbourne


Olivia has over 12 years’ experience in analytical roles across a wide range of industries, including telecommunications, grocery, FMCG, retail, e-commerce and media. Starting her career at Telecom NZ (now Spark), Olivia went on to spend several years in the UK, working for the leading analytical consultancy EYC and global giant eBay. Olivia holds a Bachelor of Commerce and Administration (majoring in Information Systems) and a Bachelor of Science from Victoria University of Wellington. Her strengths lie in marketing and insight analytics – specifically customer profiling, segmentation and geo-spatial analysis. Transforming data into actionable insights to help businesses lead data driven strategies is her passion. As Head of Insight, Olivia leads a team of analysts and works collaboratively with clients to empower them to make both tactical and strategic decisions driven by data.

Ben Winterbourne


Ben has more than 10 years’ experience as a customer insights analyst within leading agencies. After earning his degree in Business Management in the UK, he started his career at the top consultancy EYC in London, working with supermarkets and their suppliers in the USA and beyond. His next role was at at Ogilvy One, working for large blue-chip companies in the telecommunications and airline industries, and he went on to become Senior Analyst at Ogilvy in New Zealand. As Data Insight’s Head of Visual Analytics, Ben leads a team with the goal of turning client data into a true strategic asset. Helping businesses understand their customers and analytics can drive business growth and efficiencies – and increase their relevance to their customers in a highly competitive world. His talents lie in simplifying the answers to those complex business questions – telling the story through straightforward statistics and actionable insights.
