A globally experienced IT professional with a career spanning New Zealand, Singapore, and the UK, Michael combines deep technical expertise with strategic leadership to design transformative data and technology solutions.

Michael has a rich background in data architecture, cloud computing, and enterprise strategy. At Data Insight, he leverages his skills to create and govern robust IT landscapes, helping businesses harness data to drive meaningful insights and innovation. With expertise across AWS, MuleSoft, Python, SQL, and more, Michael thrives at the intersection of cutting-edge technology and business transformation.

Before joining Data Insight, Michael played a pivotal role at AA Insurance, where he shaped the architecture practice, guided end-to-end data landscape designs, and led large-scale transformation programmes. His career includes key roles in academia as a Solutions Architecture lecturer and strategic contributions at organisations like PwC New Zealand and Fonterra. From developing world-leading audit tools to reengineering data pipelines, Michael’s contributions have consistently driven impactful results.

Beyond his technical achievements, Michael is a passionate learner and leader. He holds an MBA, has earned certifications including AWS Solutions Architect and TOGAF, and is driven by a goal to excel in senior leadership within the IT and enterprise architecture space.
